Oral dose: 800-1200 mg single or divided dose.
Topical cream (applied to the skin): containing 50 mg/g of chondroitin sulfate along with other constituents.
Common side effects
Headaches, mood changes, rash, swollen eyelids, leg swelling, hair loss, diarrhea, constipation, irregular heartbeat, and raised blood pressure.
Who should not take
Do not take chondroitin if you are taking blood thinners like warfarin.
