Uses
Ethinylestradiol is used to treat the deficiency of female sex hormone and associated risk of bone loss and fractures in post-menopausal women. In menstruating women, it is used for the treatment of menstrual disorders. It is also used as a hormone replacement therapy to treat young women with underdeveloped ovaries (failure of ovarian development). Ethinylestradiol is even used in men for treating prostate cancer.
How it works

Desogestrel is a type of progestetrone used to prevent pregnancy especially in women not able to tolerate estrogens or are breast feeding.
How it works
